With over three decades of experience in Alappuzha, India, Mr. Muhammad Shafeeq is a distinguished Chartered Accountant. He obtained his Chartered Accountancy qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 1988, specializing in audit, taxation, and management consultancy.
Mr. Shafeeq is a sought-after speaker, having addressed professional bodies and educational institutions on topics of Professional Development and Personality Enhancement. He served as Chairman of the Alappuzha Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 1997 and 2006.
Beyond his professional commitments, he actively engages in social service, presiding over the Alappuzha District committee of the Muslim Educational Society (MES) and leading the Centre for Information and Guidance India (CIGI). He is also a dedicated member of the Rotary Club in Alappuzha.
In the UAE, Mr. Shafeeq has excelled in his practice for over a decade. His exceptional financial insights and guidance have garnered trust and established him as a renowned authority in Chartered Accountancy.

He has worked with reputed audit firms in India & UAE. He is familiar with all legal aspects and compliances applicable to business organizations in UAE.
Over and above his experience in auditing, he handled the finance department of leading corporate businesses.

He is a Chartered Accountant, a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, having more than 14 years of accounting, auditing, and taxation experience in UAE.
He is an expert in dealing with UAE VAT since its inception. Apart from that, he is interested in the automation of accounting with the help of Artificial Intelligence and the latest technologies. His technical knowledge of computer software is anadded advantage for our clients.

He is the Director of Bericht Audit & Advisory. He is connected to clients across industries and jurisdictions. His expertise in financial accounting, reporting, and consulting is utilized to deliver tailored solutions meeting client expectations.
He is holding a Chartered Accountant qualification, Associate membership in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and pursuing the ACCA Strategic Professional Level, the individual also possesses a Post Graduate Diploma in International Business Operations and a Master of Commerce in Organizational Behavior Studies from India. With over seven years of experience, he has managed diverse audit and assurance engagements, ensuring regulatory compliance and contributing to methodology development.

He has 10 years of rich experience in advising on complex corporate and international tax and transfer pricing issues, and personal tax issues and handled tax litigations across all forums. His area of expertise also includes representing the client. Prior to his current role he was associated with EY and PwC, one of the largest global accounting firms.
